I’ve recently had a stroke of luck.
I managed to win tickets to the Matsuyama Chiharu concert through a lottery, despite having failed to do so many times before.
Additionally, I scored a 3,000 yen meal ticket from the local shopping district.
Even though my wife suggested trying our luck with the lottery next time, I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Truth be told, I’ve been skeptical about winning the lottery, so I’ve hardly ever bought tickets.
However, this time, there’s a chance I might just win.

もう何回も落選していた松山千春コンサートの券が抽選で当たった。
それから、商店街の3，000円の食事券が当たった。
妻は、次は宝くじを買えば良いと言ったがまだ買っていない。
実は、容易に当たるはずがないと思っているから今まで殆ど宝くじは買わないことにしていた。
でも、もしかすると今回は当たるかも知れない。(14時05分)
