The other day, I visited my older sister.
She had been talking about her trip to the USA last year.
She mentioned that the prices were very high.
With the yen being so cheap, she found it very challenging.
Certainly, it can’t be helped at this time.
Another thing she mentioned was that she saw many people lying down on the road, not moving at all.
She speculated that they must be dead.
I think there’s no way such a thing could happen in Japan.
先日姉の所に遊びに行った。
姉は、昨年行ったアメリカ旅行の話をしていた。
兎も角物価が高かったとのこと。
この円安で円の価値が下がったこともあり、とっても大変だったと言っていた。
確かにこの時期は仕方がないだろう。
もうひとつ言っていたのは、道端で寝転んでいる人がたくさんいて、彼らは、全く動いていなかったとのこと。
もしかしたら死んでいたのではないかとのこと。
