墓参りに行って来た

Today is the end of Obon.
Obon refers to August 13-15.
In Japan, they say that during Obon, ancestors return to this world.
Of course, most people don’t believe it, but since it is said, everyone goes to the graves to pray.
I also went today.
I had avoided going to the graves during Obon because it is crowded, but today I felt like going.
I was lucky because it wasn’t too crowded.

今日はお盆の終わりの日。
お盆とは８月１３～１５日をいう。
日本では、お盆の時期にご先祖様がこの世に降りてくると言われている。
もちろん、殆どの人は実際には信じていないが、そういわれているので、お盆には皆墓参りに行く。
私も今日墓参りに行って来た。
例年は混むのでお盆の時期を避けていたが、今日は気が向いたので行ったのだ。
全然混んでいなかったのでラッキーだった。
