When I said that I read about it, she asked again, “How do you know the books are right”.
When I said, “If you say so, then teachers at school can teach nothing” she said teachers are different from me.
I could not argue with her.

これには驚いた。
見たものしか言えないなら、歴史の話などできないだろう。
本で読んだと言ったら、その本の内容が正しいのかどうかはなんであんたが分かるのかとまた言って来た。
そんなことを言うなら、学校の先生は何も教えることはできないのではないかと言ったら、先生は別だという。
まるで話にならない。
女性はときどき突飛なことを言う。
いや、うちの妻だけか。
