I watched a movie called “Lost Care” on Amazon Prime because it was recommended as very interesting.
The story is about a caregiver who kills people with dementia or those who need care, supposedly for the sake of their families.
I watched it, hoping it would be interesting, but it wasn’t at all.
Although the idea of killing for one’s self or family is unrealistic, there were many other unrealistic scenes as well.
The main character is denied livelihood protection.
The families are expected to care for everyone in need.
The prosecutor confesses to the main character that she also killed her father, which is also unrealistic.
In Japan, applying for livelihood protection is recognized as a right.
Since we are all compulsory members of nursing insurance, when a family can’t provide care, they can usually enter a nursing home.
A prosecutor would never discuss private matters with a criminal.
While thinking about these issues, I watched the movie, but it was not truly interesting.
I must be an unimpressed person.
ロストケアという映画をAmazonプライムで観た。
とっても感動する映画だからと勧められたからだ。
内容は主人公の介護士が認知症や介護を必要とする老人を本人や家族のために殺すという話だ。
今に面白くなるだろうと思って見ていたが、結局は全く面白くなかった。
本人や家族のために殺すということ自体がありえないが、他にもありえない場面が多々あった。
生活に困っているのに生活保護の申請を受けてもらえなかったこと。
家族が介護をしなくてはならないこと。
検事が主人公に自分も父親を殺したと告白したこと。
これらはあり得ない。
生活保護の申請は権利であり、日本では申請意思があれば受理されないことなどない。
日本は介護保険に強制加入であり、家族が介護できないのであれば施設に入るのが普通だ。
検事が犯人にプライベートの話をするなんてことは絶対にない。
そう思いながら見ていたら全然面白くなかった。
きっと、僕は感動しない人間なんだろう。
