Many opinions were issued, saying this poster was too cute to caution about bears or that it didn’t convey the danger of bears.

When I look at this, I feel it is too cute too.
It looks as if they are safe bears living at the zoo.
When you see the poster, you will want to meet those bears by all means.
It will be counterproductive.
ポスターのキャラクターは可愛い方が良いと普通は思うだろう。
しかし、下の画像のような可愛すぎると問題になったポスターがある。
これは秋田県が作ったクマへの注意を喚起するポスターだ。
秋田県では今年クマの目撃情報が500件、６人が襲われ、熊への注意を喚起するのは喫緊の課題だった。
このポスターについては、可愛すぎてクマの怖さが伝わらない、危険そうに見えないといった意見が出された。
秋田県では今後は怖いイメージを持つポスターにするという。
私が見てもこのポスターは可愛すぎる。
これではまるで、動物園にいる危険のない熊にしか見えない。
是非とも遭遇したいと思うようなポスターだ。
それでは逆効果になる。
