Today, I attended the Sapporo Snow Festival, marking the first time in 10 years.
It’s funny how we often assume we can visit a place anytime, yet somehow a whole decade slips by without realizing it.
Even though I had been there a decade ago, it was merely a fleeting glance during my daily commute because my workplace was conveniently close to Odori Park.
The last time I truly took in the festival was probably during a date with my current wife, which means it has been ● years since then.
The snow sculptures, seen after such a long hiatus, were still as magnificent as ever.
While photos might not do justice to their grandeur, some of them towered at an impressive 15 meters in height.
I highly recommend experiencing this festival firsthand.

今日は10年ぶりに雪祭りに行ってきた。
いつでも行けると思うと、気が付くと丸10年行っていなかった。
10年前に行ったと言っても、職場が大通公園に近かったので通勤でちょっと見ただけだ。
まともに見たのは恐らく、今の妻とのデート以来だから、●年が経つ。
久しぶりに見た雪像はやはり素晴らしかった。
写真では分かりにくいが、大きいものは高さ１5メーターはある。
見る価値はあるので、是非見に来てほしい。
