I was shocked to learn that there was a country where people ate dogs.
I had always thought of dogs as pets.
But when I thought about it more deeply, I realized that it was humans who decided that eating pigs or sheep was okay but eating dogs was not.
I wondered why eating pigs or sheep was acceptable but eating dogs was not.
When I imagined my beloved dog being eaten, I definitely did not want to do it.
