It has been a while since I posted on HelloTalk.
The reason is I have been reading a book.
The book I am reading is titled “In Order to Live.”
This book is written by a girl who escaped from North Korea at 13 years old.
I have not read halfway yet, but it describes the misery of living in North Korea.
Due to famine, she ate dragonflies and cicadas, and there were dead bodies around the city.
A country must exist for people to be happy, not to exploit or to continue its existence.

まだ半分も読んでないが、北朝鮮での悲惨な生活が細かく書かれている。
飢饉でトンボや蝉を食べたり、町中に死体が転がっていたりとだ。
国は国民の幸せを実現するために存在するべきだ。
決して搾取するために、国の存続のために存在してはならない。
