Butterburs are growing in our family garden too, so we eat them and find them delicious.
When I think about it, it seems wasteful not to eat those growing on the road or in parks.
So the other day, I picked some and brought them home, but my wife scolded me.
She complained, “Who would eat butterbur exposed to exhaust fumes or dog pee?
I thought that was overthinking.
For me, a butterbur growing on the road or in a park is like finding money there.
The reason is that we have to pay for butterbur at the grocery store.
山菜の季節になった。
いつも気になっているのは路上や公園に生えている蕗のこと。
我が家の家庭菜園でも生えているうが、いつも美味しくいただいている。
そう考えると、路上や公園の蕗を食べないことは大変勿体ないと思っている。
だから、先日、道端の蕗を取ってきたら、妻に怒られた。
排気ガスや犬のおしっこがかかっているものを誰が食べるのかと。
それは考えすぎだろうと思う。
自分にとっては道端の蕗はお金が落ちているのと同じと思ってしまう。
何せ、スーパーで売っている蕗はお金を払わないければ買えないのだから。(14時55分)
