貧乏の理由

The reason our house was poor was not that my father did not work.
My father worked from morning to late at night.
He stayed at the firm several times because he was too busy.
In the world, it may be common for a man to have a woman while saying he stays at the firm, but my father did not do that at all.
As an adult, I learned why our house was poor.
My father quit the big firm he entered as a new graduate.
In Japan, only new graduates can enter companies with the best conditions.
If someone quits a company in the middle, they can only enter firms with low salaries next time.
That’s why my father had a low salary.
The reason I, as a child, knew this was because my mother always said that a salaried man is good.
I thought my father was a salaried man, but the salaried man my mother referred to is someone who works at a big firm and gets a large amount of money from it.

なぜ、貧乏だったかというと父親が働かなかったからではない。
父親は朝から晩まで働いていた。
忙しいため会社に泊まり込みのことも多かった。
世間では会社に泊まり込みで働いているといって外に女をかこむことは良くあることだが、父に限ってはそんなことは１００％なかった。
なぜ、貧乏だったか、大人になってその理由がよく分かった。
父は新卒で就職した大会社を中途でやめたからだ。
日本では新卒就職が一番条件の良い会社に就職できる。
中途で辞めれば、次に就職できる会社は給料の安いところしかない。
だから給料が安かった。
なぜ、子供であった私がこうした理由を知っているかというと勤め人は良いなと母が良く言っていたからだ。
父は勤め人ではないのかと思ったが母の言う勤め人とは大企業に勤めて高額の給料をもらう人のことだった。(14時40分)
