One of my hobbies is listening to music.
Recently, I memorize English words while listening to music.
By the way, do you know what music I am listening to.
To tell the truth, the songs I listen to are popular songs from about 100 years ago.
Of course, since there was no technology to record music back then, I think the actual recordings were made very recently, about 70 years ago.
Actually, I don’t know why I know such music.
I infer that my parents listened to this music before I could remember.
So I think I knew it from them.
These songs, with their slow tempo, different from what we listen to now, touch my heart.

最近は聞きながら単語を覚えています。
ところで、どんな曲を聴いているかご存じでしょうか。
実は、１００年ほど前の歌謡曲を聞いているのです。
もちろん、１００年前は録音技術がなかったので実際に録音されたのはごく最近、恐らく７０年ぐらい前と思います。
何でそんな曲を知っているかといういうと、実は、自分でも分からないのです。
推測すると、私が物心がつく前に親がラジオで聞いていたのではないかと思っています。
だから、知っていたものと思っています。
今の曲と違って、テンポはとっても遅いですが、心にしみる歌なのです。
