犬を飼おうかどうかで迷っている

I am wondering whether to buy a dog or not.
The price of a dog has been increasing because of the demand due to COVID-19, but now it is getting lower.
Despite the decrease, it is still over 300,000 yen, so we cannot say it is a cheap purchase.
I once had a dog in the old days, but since it died, I have not had one.
I think it’s about time to get a dog.
The reason I am wondering whether to buy one is that if I have it, it will become difficult to go on trips.

犬を飼おうかどうかで迷っている。
一時期コロナのために、需要が高くなったため相当高価だったが、今は大分値下がりしてきた。
値下がりと言っても、まだ３０万円ほどするので安い買い物ではない。
昔、犬を飼っていたことがあったが、１０年ほど前に亡くなってからは買っていなかった。
そろそろ、飼っても良いかなと思っている。
犬がいると旅行に行くのが大変になるので迷っているのだ。
