Do you know amateur radio?
In the old days, there were no cellphones like now, so amateur radio was the only way to keep in touch with others outside.
A large number of people got amateur radio licenses and used it.
I remember when I was a child, I got a license and played with amateur radio”.
Eyeball QSO” means an actual meeting.
Although it’s called a meeting, it was very decent because most people doing it were men — I don’t know why.
But nowadays, the number of people doing it seems to have decreased significantly.
When I say “seems,” it’s because I don’t do it anymore, so I don’t know what the world of amateur radio is like now.
It’s a memory from my youth, and I feel nostalgic about it.
アマチュア無線というのを知っているだろうか。
その昔、今と違って携帯電話などはなかったから、外で連絡を取り合う手段はこの無線ぐらいしかなかった。
だから、結構な人数の人たちが免許を取り、無線をやっていた。
僕も子供の頃、資格を取り大分遊んだ記憶がある。
アイポールQSOと言って、実際に会うこともあった。
会うといっても、なぜかやっている人たちは男性ばかりだったのでとても健全なものだった。
しかし、昨今は全くやっている人は減ったらしい。
らしい、と言ったのは、私も今はやっていないので無線の世界がどうなったかが分からないからだ。
青春時代の思い出で、今は大分懐かしい。(17時49分)
