There is a saying that there is no noble or lowly work.
It means, as it reads, that no work is more precious or less valuable, every job is important.
However, do not be misled by this phrase.
It doesn’t mean all work is equal.
In reality, the value of jobs varies.
Some jobs are worth pursuing, while others are not,some pay well, while others don’t.
Of course, there is no noble or lowly work, but it is natural for everyone to want a good job.
So, everyone must make an effort.
Students must study hard.
I wish I had known these things when I was a child.
職業に貴賤はないということわざがある。
読んで字のごとしだが、仕事には尊い仕事、卑しい仕事はなく、仕事はどれも尊いものだという意味である。
しかし、この言葉に騙されてはならない。
仕事はどれも平等という意味にはならない。
現実にも違う。
やりがいがない仕事、金にならない仕事、やりがいがある仕事、金になる仕事もある。
もちろん、仕事に貴賤はないが、誰しもが良い仕事に就きたいと思うのは当然のことだ。
だから、皆努力をしなくてはならない。
学生は勉強を頑張らなくてはならない。
このことを子供時代の自分に言い聞かせたい。
