東京都知事選挙が終わった

The Tokyo gubernatorial election has finally ended.
As expected, Koike, the current governor, won.
However, I always think the candidates did not debate their policies.
All they did was repeatedly announce their names from election cars.
If a candidate did mention their policy, it was often unrealistic.
I heard that young people are not interested in the election, but if this continues, not only young people but also everyone will lose interest.

東京都知事選挙が終わった。
予想通り、現職の小池知事が当選した。
しかし、いつも選挙のときに思うのだが、政策論争がほとんどない。
選挙カーの上で名前を連呼するだけだ。
たまに政策を述べる候補がいたとしても、耳障りの良いできそうもないことしか言わない。
若者の選挙離れが言われているが、これだと若者だけではなくだれも政治に関心を持たないだろう。
